Road traffic accident (RTA)

Dear client of Ingosstrakh,

On the road traffic accident you SHOULD NOT to:

• give way to panic. Remember – your transport vehicle is insured.
• hold a conversation on liability of participants, take over any liabilities for payment of injured harm.
• change the accident picture (change location of transport vehicles, do away with debris of glass and mud, etc.) as far as possible.

Actions on road traffic accident:

1. Immediately notify an average commissioner of Ingosstrakh about the accident, as well as to the appropriate authorities and organizations, based on their competency: departments of State Inspection for Road Traffic Safety (State Motor Vehicle Inspectorate, police, militia), fire-fighting service authorities, appropriate department of Ministry of Emergency Situations, average services;
2. not to move the automobile transport from the place of accident until arrival of State Inspection for Road Traffic Safety officers (officers of State Motor Vehicle Inspectorate, police, militia), where the insured event occurred with the exception of hard-to-reach areas.
3. On commitment of the road traffic accident the driver (person allowed to operate the insured transport vehicle) should immediately or five hours at the latest after occurrence of the incident coming with the insured event, undergo a medical examination for establishment of fact of psychoactive substance use, state alcohol intoxication in accordance with requirements of state legislation (for example, on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, certificate of the form №155/У ), where the insured event occurred with the exception of hard-to-reach areas. On occurrence of the insured event in hard-to-reach areas (areas located at a distance of inhabited locality) the driver has to undergo a medical examination within two calendar days from the moment the insured event.
4. Forward notification (notice on insured event) within 3 working days from the moment of the insured event, and within 3 working days after return to the Kyrgyz Republic in case the damage abroad.
5. accomplish video and photo shooting from the place of accident if possible and provide with colored pictures of damaged automobile.
6. ensure transfer of incorporeal right to Ingosstrakh for a claim to a person responsible for the occurrence of the insured event.

Attention!

A document from competent authorities can be not submitted to the Insurer in case of breakage of glass, external lighting apparatus, mirrors with stones or other objects, thrown from under wheels of the other transport vehicle.

In case the Insured (Beneficiary) states about occurrence of the insured event after expiry of the insurance agreement, it is obligatory to provide the Insurer with the document issued by the competitive authorities confirming the fact of the incurred event occurrence during the insurance agreement validity.
